Definitions of the Two

• RAL 9002 PPGI Definition: The full name is RAL 9002 Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel. The substrate is cold-rolled steel sheet, coated with a layer of zinc (typically 30–275 g/m²), followed by degreasing and chemical conversion treatment. It is then spray-coated with RAL 9002-colored paint (typically PE/HDP/PVDF) and cured through baking.
• RAL 9002 PPGL Definition: The full name is RAL 9002 Pre-Painted Galvalume Steel. The substrate is also cold-rolled steel sheet, but the surface coating is an aluminum-zinc alloy (approximately 55% aluminum and 43% zinc, with a coating weight of 30–150 g/m²). The subsequent coating process is identical to that of PPGI, making it suitable for highly corrosive environments.
